License Loss and/or physical damage
Customers with a permanent license dongle are responsible for safeguarding this hardware. Parallel Geoscience, LLC is not obligated to provide a replacement license in the event of loss or damage to the dongle.
Permitted Use
The license grants you the right to use the Software on one machine at a time. For the purposes of this Agreement, a "machine" may include:
A single physical machine with one or more CPUs; or
A parallel virtual machine consisting of multiple CPUs connected via a network, operated by a single user.
You are permitted to create backup copies of the Software for archival purposes. However, you may not:
Transfer, sell, or redistribute the Software to any third party without prior written consent from Parallel Geoscience, LLC;
Rent, lease, or sublicense the Software;
Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Termination
This Agreement may be terminated:
By mutual written agreement between you and Parallel Geoscience, LLC; or
Automatically if you violate any term of this Agreement.
Upon termination, your right to use the Software ceases immediately, and you must destroy all copies of the Software in your possession or control.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software and related documentation are provided "AS IS" without any warranties, express or implied. Parallel Geoscience, LLC expressly disclaims all other warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
